Lauren Tanchum is a Designer and Multidisciplinary Artist.
Lauren specializes in costume design for period and art house film making. When she is not on set, she continues to expand her collection of wearable art that embodies her fervor for creating visionary textiles and ethereal silhouettes.
In 2012 she began laser cutting original lace patterns to superimpose over natural-dyed silk tops and gowns to build a gender fluid collection of interchangeable transitional lingerie.
Her work is inspired by the poetic sensuality of nature and nightlife.
